The Colonia Verde community is a development of 169 homes, some single dwellings and others townhouses. They are built in a modified Santa Fe design, and surrounded by desert landscaping. The area exhibits a quiet serenity although very close to two major arteries.

Our community offers a spacious clubhouse, two swimming pools (one of which is heated) and saunas for men and for women. Paved walking paths wind extensively through the development. Low-key lighting illuminates the community at night while avoiding glares.  Activities are often held in our clubhouse for all our homeowners and residents to participate in.  They include water aerobics, other exercise classes, community buffets and so much more.

As is common, this neighborhood is subject to conditions, covenants, and restrictions (CC&R's) in order to maintain the quality and appearance of the area. A board is elected from the residents to administer the CC&R's.

The staff includes an Office Administrator and Property Manger, who are here to help make your transition to our community a pleasant one. Chris Wendorf comes to us with a solid knowledge base and is our very experienced on-site Property Manager.  He can be reached Monday through Friday during normal business hours and who can be reached by calling the office at 520-298-0844.  In the event of an emergency, please call Mike Zonnefeld at 520-749-3575 or 520-760-1091. Joy Renee Karr, our Office Administrator, can be located in the Associationís Office in the Clubhouse.  She is available by email, cvhoa@coloniaverdehoa.com, or phone, (520) 298-0844; Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.

The Clubhouse is available for parties, bridge games, concerts, and private meetings. Reservations are required for private events and can be made 90 days prior to the event.  Rules and a schedule of reservation fees are available in the clubhouse lobby or online.

Each household is issued one magnetic keycard to allow access to the two swimming pools, and to the yard of the clubhouse. One additional card is available for a cost of $25.00.  Replacement of a lost card will incur a $25.00 charge.  Access to the clubhouse can added to the keycard for an additional cost of $15.00 per card.

The Clubhouse and Pool Area is equipped with video recording cameras, so located to observe the general areas, to help detect violations upon common property, vandalism, theft and/or compromises in safety, security or association's rules.  A video camera is located at the gate entrance on the south side of  the clubhouse.

The swimming pool immediately behind the clubhouse is heated, and is equipped with a cover. All users are asked to close the cover after use of the pool in order to help maintain pool water temperature and to help reduce heating costs.  Four  guests are allowed per residence.  A responsible adult (18 years or older) must accompany children under the age 14 at all times.

Another swimming pool is located on East Camino Vecino, behind 7220 East Camino Vecino.  It is not heated and is not equipped with a cover.  Four guests are allowed per residence.  A responsible adult (18 years or older) must accompany children under the age 14 at all times.

Both pools have usage rules posted and are provided with telephones so that city emergency services can be called if needed.

The association office is located in the clubhouse, and is open from 9AM to 12 Noon five days a week.
